Magpas is a long established charitable organisation set up to respond to the needs of people in accidents. Website users’ include the general public, first responders, staff and the media. The needs of these groups are diverse, from up to the minute news information to long term training and support requirements.
The existing website didn’t reflect the operation today, was hard to update and the design was old fashioned. The site required a new design and improved usability. Magpas needed to have control of content, making instant news/information updates on the website and push that instantly to the press agencies.
Our website solution allows the Magpas team to instantly update their website using a user-friendly content management system.
News items are fed automatically to their charity Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn profiles, creating instant visibility and saving time and money which has been invested straight back into their lifesaving service.
Our solution allows them to spread a message of road safety and prevention, this being a key success of the new website.
Outcomes and Benefits
The new website has allowed Magpas to increase awareness and provide valuable real-time updates to identified user groups.
Donations have increased on average by 50% per month and the charity has secured a number of high profile corporate donations due to the enhanced credibility.
Many aspects of our new website have been revolutionary for Magpas. It was always the ambition of the charity to have a website which could be updated in real time. web2market were good to work with, ensuring we had the design and functionality we needed for the website to be a success. They are always available at the end of the phone for any website update assistance, which is reassuring.
