New website for Blue Sphere improves professionalism for market growth ambitions
We have just launched a new website for Blue Sphere, of Cambridge. The company was looking to improve their web presence and create increased confidence in their services.
Blue Sphere offer consultancy services focusing on pharmaceutical security, patient safety and anti-counterfeiting. They have grown very quickly over the last two years and the existing website was not very informative or reflective of the professional services on offer.
The new website clearly communicates the services available and offers focused pages on relevant content. Great for the visitor and good for Google too.

Every single client that works with us has different needs and therefore the approach to every solution is tailored to those needs. Blue Sphere came to us with a blog-based website and an existing identity which was looking a little dated. The markets in which Blue Sphere operates are global and its clients are often very large pharmaceutical organisations. In order to appeal to these global players, Blue Sphere needed to improve their brand perception; to be perceived as a more professional and credible consultancy firm.
Blue Sphere is an authority in its market sector and needed a website outcome that supported this. A refresh of their existing brand and logo and complete website re-design has given Blue Sphere the professional image that it was looking to achieve.
The existing logo was dated and a little simple but known within the industry. This meant that we needed to evolve the brand rather than re-invent it. The new more professional brand and brand elements such as logo, needed to remain identifiable.
With a little work and inspiration from our brand designer and the removal of the word ‘Health’ we arrived at a more modern logo which allowed us to bring the brand bang up to date and facilitated a great overall website design outcome.
Understanding the impact that a brand and logo can have on the overall design of a website is often difficult for us to communicate. We find that many companies are reluctant to update their brand for a variety of reasons, however, changes can be relatively subtle allowing recognition to be retained. A refreshed logo can not only invigorate your brand outwardly but also inspire your staff and other stakeholders.
