Thermal Economics launch new website to reach new & existing markets more effectively

Thermal Economics is a specialist provider of thermal and acoustic insulation products and supporting services. Traditionally they sell to business clients but following the  recent Government ‘Green Deal’ they are now able to approach the domestic market more easily.

Their existing website was out of date and did not communicate the extensive range of products and services effectively.  Working closely with Thermal Economics, we created a bespoke design with clear navigation to all products, services and supporting information. For clarity, the visitor can search by product (if they know what they are looking for) and by product system.

The website contains a huge amount of content, with technical data sheets, brochures and product information which all need to be easily accessible. For such a large website, planning is key to a successful outcome. Read on for more on how to plan your website and achieve a successful outcome.

As part of the website creation process we created ‘wire frame’ documents showing functionality, process flow and general layout. These were vital to ensure the website architecture was correct before we began the build. We also worked with Thermal Economics to produce a clear site map of all the pages that were required and mapped out exactly what content would appear on these pages.

Thermal Economics is a growing business expanding into new markets which needed to be incorporated into the new website. A Home Improvement section is aimed at a consumer audience, along with the Green Deal page.

The outcome is a far more informative and user friendly website allowing visitors to obtain technical information and reassurance of product performance and quality.

The website has been created using WordPress which will allow Thermal Economics to update the content as necessary. An on-line shop is going to be added to the website in the near future aimed at the domestic market. It will contain a selection of relevant products and any related products so the task at hand can be completed with all parts required.

In order to reach new and their existing markets, Thermal Economics is engaging in Pay per Click marketing.
