PEME’s Apprenticeship brochure

Formed in 1982, PEME is an established, privately owned company, delivering specialist engineering services, with their headquarters based in Peterborough. Having worked with web2market on their brand, the website and a number of brochures PEME needed a new brochure for a new, different audience – prospective staff.

PEME’s Apprenticeship scheme

PEME sees its apprentices as fundamental to the long term development of the business and so needed a tool to promote apprenticeship schemes within the educational and recruitment sector. It was decided that a A4 multi leaf brochure which could be distributed, via third parties to young people looking to decide on their future, would be the most productive approach. Two people working at an engineering machine

Communicating with the audience

PEME wanted to use their existing corporate style, yet adapt the message to suit the audience.  It was therefore decided to use the current format for their new Apprenticeship Brochure but, introduce more eye-catching features on each page such as ‘infographics’ to appeal to the younger reader.

The end result proved very successful and illustrated that an industry that can sometimes be perceived as a little staid, dry or boring, actually has much to offer the future generation of engineers.
