Do searchers click AdWords adverts?

The answer to this is a resounding yes!

Research carried out towards the end of last year showed that 92% of searchers click on sponsored results (or AdWords Ads) and that around 40% of these search twenty or more times each week. Read on for advert advice.

It is interesting to note that 88% will click on a search result if it contains the exact phrase they searched for and almost 80% of people asked will look at more than one page if they don’t find what they are looking for on page one.

This shows that it is really important to research what people are typing in to find the services or products you offer before embarking on an Adwords (pay per click) campaign, so you can target your keywords and wording of your ads to the customers you want to attract.

Research is an activity that we always carry out at the beginning of a client website marketing campaign and if you would like more information about how we can drive business to your website, please visit the website promotion pages of our website, or contact me to discuss the growth of your enquiries and sales.
