Changing business focus requires new identity and website for Caliq
Caliq has been developing software for businesses for over 30 years. During this time they have implemented hundreds of solutions into companies across the UK, many with overseas operations, covering all aspects of wholesale distribution.
Based near Huntingdon, Caliq approached web2market, a local marketing agency, to assist with a company re-brand which would align with its new focus on multi-channel wholesale distributors operating in the Home, Gift, Garden and allied sectors.
Caliq’s requirement identified the need for a new modern brand, revised collateral and website to bring it in line with the consumer focus of its target customer group.

A new brand for Caliq
web2market worked alongside Caliq to research and identify its key brand renewal ambition. With a new sector focus on the Home, Gift, Garden and allied sector, it was imperative that we understood the target audience as it would inform the look and feel of Caliq’s new brand identity.
Refreshed Brand, New Logo
Our design team worked closely with Caliq to create its new logo. The fresh, sector reflective logo was developed to appeal to new customers, as well as existing, and demonstrates the high quality service that Caliq offer.
Caliq knew that its website was not suited to the high quality service that it provides, due it being visually and functionally dated and not reflective of the current product solutions.
In order to improve the online experience for its customer group, we identified the need for a website that displayed well on all devices such as mobile, desktop and tablet and gave relevant information to the customer in a well-defined, timely manner.
Our design team sourced and created original imagery to help the customer learn about Caliq within a clean, crisp layout. The unique, mobile responsive site incorporates all of Caliq’s requirements allowing them to promote their sales software to the relevant audience.
To ensure the new brand was reflected in all of Caliq’s services we were also asked to overhaul the styling of Caliq’s software product. We recommended changes to colour and font arrangements to ensure the customer brand experience was consistent throughout.
Caliq told us that they found it refreshing to work with a local marketing agency, able to deliver full marketing support in the re-branding of their company. web2market kept Caliq engaged with the project at every stage and met on a regular basis to ensure our creative thinking and timings were fully aligned.
